Malachi Million has been playing for 12 years primarily beginning with metal/rock where he developed his playing technique before taking lessons to progress his ability. Under Michael Massons at Airhouse Music Academy, Malachi further developed his playing skills and technique studying theory and jazz. Malachi graduated with honors from Friends University where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Guitar Performance. At Friends, he studied jazz guitar under Randy Zellers and classical under Howard Glanton. Malachi attended Graduate School at the University of Arkansas and earned a Master of Music Performance in guitar studying under Benjamin Harris and Jake Hertzog. He is currently attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he is earning a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Jass Studies Performance under Dr. Peter Bouffard. He has experience playing with Jazz groups, performing solo guitar in Jazz and other styles, Vocal Jazz Groups, Large Jazz Ensembles, Guitar Ensembles, Metal bands, Funk Bands, Blues Bands, and Worship Music....

Christian Chesanek is an El Paso, Texas-based bassists currently attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for a doctorate in Jazz studies with Dr. Hans Sturm. His previous education consists of a commercial music degree at the University of Texas at El Paso under Erik Unsworth and a double bass performance degree at Ithaca College under Nicholas Walker. Christian has been a freelance musician since his senior year in high school and continues to play in the Lincoln, Omaha and El Paso region. During which he has had the opportunity to work with Francois Rabbath, Paul Ellison, Shawn Conely, Michael League, Victor Lewis, Curt Warren, Abel Mireles, Donny McCaslin, Johnny Hamil, Joel Quarrington, and Lynn Seaton.

Boiler Grand Hall is located on the third floor of the Grand Manse building at 129 North 10th Street in downtown Lincoln, NE. Enter through the northeast doors and go through the second set of double doors. Take the elevator to the third floor and you’ve arrived! Brought to you by Boiler Brewing Company, Jazz in June, Downtown Lincoln, and The Eagle Group. Boiler Brewing Company beers will be on tap. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Show starts at 8 PM.
